Customer Retention and Proximity Marketing Programs
Effective marketing does not need to be fancy or expensive. Indeed,
many aspects of an effective marketing plan are relatively simple
and inexpensive. As with any part of the business, systematizing
parts of your marketing plan can reap significant rewards with
minimal effort or expense. Two of these methods are proximity
marketing and customer retention. This workshop will address the value of developing and implementing
a customer retention program and using proximity marketing to
generate leads around current jobs. The focus will be on easy to
implement methods for creating multiple exposures.
Day and Time: Wednesdays, 4PM Central Time
Dates: October 22, October 29
Price: $50

Series 2
Tracking Leads
Identifying the effectiveness of our marketing is crucial for making
informed decisions. If we rely on “gut feelings” or a general sense
of our lead sources, we can make significant errors regarding
marketing. In other words, if we want to make intelligent decisions
we must obtain and utilize the hard facts.
This workshop
will address methods for tracking leads, recording and analyzing the
data, and the criteria to use when analyzing lead sources.
Marketing
Plans
Haphazard, inconsistent marketing will deliver
haphazard, inconsistent results. Successful marketing requires a
plan, and the consistent implementation of that plan.
This workshop will help you develop a comprehensive
marketing plan. You will learn how to use historical data to develop
your plan, as well as methods for improving the effectiveness of
your marketing dollars.
Day and Time: Wednesdays, 4PM Central Time
Dates: November 5, November 12
Price: $50

assets, liabilities, and profit, as well as financial statements.

Financial statements
provide the scorecard for a business. These statements tell you how
you have performed, where you currently stand, and how you got to

problems in estimating or production.
This workshop introduces the concept of job costing. You will learn
how to perform job costing and how to use the information.
Determining Your Selling Price
One of the most important responsibilities of owning
a paint contracting company is selling at the right price, that is,
a price that allows you to pay reasonable wages (including to
yourself) and make a reasonable profit. But we cannot sell at the
right price if we do not know what that price is.
This workshop will show you how to calculate the right selling price
for your company. The workshop covers direct and indirect costs,
profit, and setting income goals.
